While some of those defenders disagree about even if the harm is massive enough to justify restrictions on the industry, most liberals agree that pornography causes some harm to women. Some conservatives argue that pornography is morally faulty and may be banned. However, others have argued that a ban would not do any good. Instead, a more beneficial way to address the problem of sexual inequality would be to focus on improving women's lives. Another group of advocates is the feminists. While they do not share the conservatives' desire to ban pornography, they do agree that the industry preys on inclined populations, incredibly women. They also believe that pornography has the means to undermine the equal civil rights of girls. A number of liberals have proposed that the "harm principle" should be would becould very well be a basis for censorship. The precept is described largely, but needs to be supported by some dependable evidence of injury to people. It is not awesome then, that many classic liberal defenders of pornography disagree about even if the precept has any real value. Their skepticism about the precept stems from a lack of facts that pornography is harmful.
