These are called “Bitcoin blackmail” scams, and they’re being pronounced by further and further victims daily. The emails claim that crooks have hacked your computing device or network and filmed you viewing porn sites. They say they’ve taken screenshots of your webcam and put them side-by-side to make a video that’s embarrassing to observe.
