Studies have shown that up to 90 percent of sex addicts have confessed that pornography played a role in their dependancy. Watching pornography is an expression of lust, that is a sin opposed to God. Jesus said that it is a sin to lust for another human being. Pornography addiction causes chemical changes in the brain. These changes quickly dull pain and produce pleasant feelings that strengthen the dependancy. The problem is made worse by the indisputable fact that addicts often experience extreme shame and guilt about their porn habit. Not all porn users have a dysfunction; some people simply examine pornography out of interest, thrill-trying, or eroticism. While there's no particular diagnostic standards for pornography dependancy, it is usual to find it among those with compulsive sexual conduct. This disorder can be categorised as a kind of information superhighway addiction, but it does not fall under the DSM-5. The World Health Organization's International Classification of Diseases (ICD) includes pornography compulsivity as a subtype of sexual dependancy. Although pornography is not a recognized disorder, it is a turning out to be problem among clinicians.
