Twitter's Super Follow application could generate revenueTwitter has introduced a new characteristic called the Super Follow, which is a nifty little gimmick it's supposed to permit guaranteed users to put paywalls on some of their Tweets. One of the features is a 'Earnings Estimator' that tells the user how many followers they must earn X amount of money. Those numbers aren't public, but it's safe to say that a percent of each price will go to Twitter. Another is a 'Communities' tool, which goes like a Facebook group. These groups will allow creators to share and receive criticism, and may additionally offer a place to monetize their presence on Twitter. Finally, a 'Twitter Cards' characteristic enables richer preview snippets when a tweet consists of card markup. Essentially, the cardboard will let Twitter display a larger image in the Tweet, and will enable Twitter to reveal more exact previews of the tweet.
