Traditionally, liberals have defended the proper of pornography to exist. While some of these defenders disagree about whether the harm is significant enough to justify regulations on the industry, most liberals agree that pornography causes some harm to ladies. Some conservatives argue that pornography is morally inaccurate and may be banned. However, others have argued that a ban would not do any good. Instead, a more effective way to address the challenge of sexual inequality would be to center around recovering women's lives. Another group of advocates is the feminists. While they do not share the conservatives' desire to ban pornography, they do agree that the industry preys on vulnerable populations, particularly women. They also agree with that pornography has the skills to undermine the equal civil rights of ladies. A number of liberals have proposed that the "harm precept" may be a basis for censorship. The principle is defined greatly, but has to be supported by some dependable evidence of harm to people. It is not superb then, that many traditional liberal defenders of pornography disagree about even if the principle has any real value.
