Although it is not a superb movie, it's made headlines for its hot scenes. neo-noir crime thrillersAlthough noir is referred to as a genre for men, there are lots of feminist and sexy noir films. One such instance is Black Widow, which combines the tropes of a femme fatale and a serial killer into one film. In this film, Theresa Russell plays a calculating and methodical serial killer who is normally plotting her next kill. One of the film's many highlights is Russell's surprising functionality as the protagonist. The other fantastic aspect of this film is the incontrovertible fact that both the serial killer and the investigator are women. This contrasts with the sloppy, cynical male detective, Alex Barnes. Another instance of here's After Dark, My Sweet, which was directed by John Foley and in line with a novel by Jim Thompson. The film follows a washed-up boxer, Jason Patric, as he turns into entangled in a kidnapping plot. In the film, he meets an alcoholic widow, Rachel Ward, and her menacing uncle, played by Bruce Dern. Though the radical never specifies the place, the director John Foley chose a stunning place where bad things can happen.
