This can result in numerous wasted time and effort. To assess how users interacted with these gadgets, we devised an experiment to check the impact of a novelty video boredom induction on media multitasking. We used a combination of three samples of members from Hungary to reply our query. These samples covered women and men. We tested the effect of a novelty video boredom induction and a humdrum video task on two distinctive sets of participants. For each set, we asked them to comprehensive a sequence of multitasking tasks. As shown in the figure above, the interest induction was not as useful as the boring one. However, we did find that there was a small but statistically significant boom in the time spent multitasking on the boring one. Our study is the 1st to observe the effect of a novelty video boredom on media multitasking. It is a promising discovery that the newness video boredom induction can result in an benefit in the speed of media multitasking. However, we won't say that it will always be the case.
