The perception of porn stigma may affect a consumer's commitment to procuring porn. Although a minority of respondents cited lack of economic means as the basic explanation for not purchasing porn, many other elements contributed to not purchasing porn: lack of competencies about agencies, lack of belief in the impact of client choice, and fear that porn agencies will appear on their bank statement.
