Women's AV industryWhile most Japanese AV items are geared towards male audiences, the industry is also seeing an increase in women's attention in AV content. While there are still far more men in the AV industry than women, female employees are handled well and the nation is experiencing less sexual harassment than other constructed countries. Statistics show that about one in every 200 Japanese women has appeared in a pornographic video. In assessment, there are about 400 girls in a typical Japanese high school.
