Crimes of the Future - Set in a crumbling future, Crimes of the Future portrays the decaying nature of modern civilization. The film is in keeping with Cronenberg's own novel, Consumed. The story revolves around a body artist named Saul Tenser, who has a strange condition called Accelerated Evolution Syndrome. The performances are plausible and Jeremy Irons is superb in the lead role.
