The helmet reads the wearer's brainwaves to detect indecent images. It has high accuracy, but it has also shown false positives. This is partly due to a lack of training parts and partly due to gender. Currently, Chinese censors try to evade toddlers from viewing pornography on the cyber web. But it is not always feasible to filter the content. The Chinese government is making an attempt to manage internet content by proscribing infants's access to social networks and desktop games. But the'mind-studying helmet' has been proven to be 80% accurate, triggering an alarm when pornographic content is detected. Though the helmet has a high accuracy rate, it doesn't filter other emotions. Researchers tested the helmet with fifteen school scholars. When the students viewed an image with nude content, the helmet would detect it and alert the wearer.
