The consequences of the study showed that both types of maladaptive behaviour were significantly correlated with boredom avoidance and proneness to escape. Specifically, our effects suggested that the degree to which an individual feels the urge to flee boredom predicts their risk of conducting dangerous and risky behaviours. Our findings imply that coping mechanisms are best optimized with the buildup of experience. It is therefore possible that links among poor self-manage and no more adaptive behaviours are guilty for the bigger association among SBPS and DWB-M. A small positive correlation was also found among the SBPS score and the BAE score.27.02.2023
