Beijing AquariumThe China Aquarium is a superb way to spend a day with the family. It’s easy to get around and has enough atypical marine life to maintain kids captivated for hours on end. This world-class enchantment opened in 2002 and is right next to the Oriental Pearl Tower in Pudong. It has greater than 450 species spread across nine alternative zones, from the deep ocean to China, and is one of Asia’s best aquariums. Its ’Across Continents via Worlds of Water’ theme encompasses the entire aquatic adventure, and aims to encourage conservation for all the living wealth that lies in the oceans. The aquarium’s design reflects this by offering guests a tour of all of the major continents and regions on exhibit in a sequence of thematic zones, each of that is designed to display a specific region or group of species. Each area features a walk-through tunnel and an outsized tank, so guests can see every thing from jellyfish to Yangtze alligators. The China Zone houses one of the country’s endangered aquatic creatures, while the Africa, Southeast Asia, Cold Water and Polar Zones show cold-water fish and penguins from everywhere in the world. For the more adventurous, there’s also a 155-meter underwater viewing tunnel and shark diving. It’s the premier endeavor, though you would are looking to book ahead of time. Besides being a giant tourist spot, the China Aquarium also is an important educational center.
