However, market reforms have ushered in a more rebellious urban youth tradition. This has led to greater openness towards sex, however concerns have been expressed about safe sex. These findings problem the West-China dichotomy in our knowing of sexuality and risk. Rather than constructing a conventional China-West binary, Chinese immigrants' transnational reports are redefining the best way they have in mind risk and sexuality.
