However, some actors broke via and made big appearances in AVs. Among the earliest AV stars was the actress Kate Asabuki, whose name appeared on both AVs and theatrical films. She later became the host of the regularly occurring Tokyo Rock TV show. In 1982, the Crystal-Eizou studio was centered. A few years later, Toru Muranishi joined the company and constructed an almost documentary-style strategy to filming AV. The Japanese govt passed a law making pornography legal in 2022. The new law seeks to protect actors who were compelled into the industry. It also gives actors the right to restrict the sale in their videos after five years. In the past, there were several attempts to ban child pornography in Japan. A bill was submitted to the Diet in June 2008 but didn't pass. However, a revised version of the law was passed in July 2014.
