Plus, the human porn appraisers are regular people - not machines that make algorithmic errors. Researchers in Beijing Jiaotong University these days advanced a tool that can automatically detect pornography. This wearable device can show an appraiser a giant variety of images and immediately log those containing porn. The device works by measuring spikes in brainwaves that occur when the viewer is exposed to explicit content. The device also filters out indications that are not related to porn. As a result, there is a developing need for people to determine pornography and help keep the web safe. One firm is looking for a prime porn appraiser to assist with this task. It also is hiring Web editors and experts who can detect fraudulent or malicious content on web pages.
