Relationship between viewing pornography and negative attitudes toward womenA recent meta-evaluation tested the dating among male pornographic viewing and terrible attitudes toward women. The findings confirmed previous studies that pornographic viewing is associated with an increased likelihood of aggression and poor attitudes toward women. However, the dating was more mentioned for pornographic viewing that's sexually violent. In a separate study, pornography viewing and attitudes toward women were associated only when the human being had more pornographic viewing in the past. The study examined the role of personality traits in mediating this relationship, and located that viewing pornography was associated with less egalitarian attitudes and more opposed sexism. Moreover, those with lower agreeableness tended to have more sexist attitudes than people with high agreeableness. In both reviews, experimental publicity to pornography was found to significantly affect adverse attitudes toward women when they were exposed to pornography, while it failed to affect benevolent attitudes toward women in individuals who were not. In this study, participants were asked no matter if they'd watched pornography, and if they viewed pornography frequently. The study covered data from 13 nations and 60,000 members. The findings indicated that viewing pornography was associated with bad attitudes toward women and with a man's skill to have intimate relationships with people. In addition, pornography viewing was linked to a man's level of religiosity.
