HyenasHyenas are large, gregarious predators with large black muzzles and rancid-white to light brown coats, and abnormal dark spots. They are similar to lions but more capable of looking and are frequently found in sub-Saharan Africa. The male and feminine Spotted Hyenas look alike, but the male has a shorter, blunter clitoris. Female spotted hyenas have a pseudo-penis. Their genitals are almost the same size as males'. In an try to discover which hyenas were males and which were female, Maruyama Zoo staff tried for years to breed the 2 animals. However, it turned out that both were males. Despite the zoo's efforts, the spotted hyenas were unable to reproduce. Japanese zookeepers have been seeking to mate two male noticed hyenas for almost four years, but they've failed. They firstly thought the two animals were a female couple after they were purchased from a South Korean zoo. But the animals were aggressive toward one an alternative, and the zoo determined to split them.
