It's a completely unique tackle the slasher genre, but it also offers a very entertaining event for viewers. While a slasher film may seem like a horror movie, "X" is more of an unabashed porn film. In distinction to "Born to Scream," X points female characters who are far more violent than male characters. The film is a dark combination of slasher and unabashed porn. It also is made with voyeuristic viewers of different generations in mind. X Pornos is a captivating throwback to a less innocent time. It's a time when movies were naughty, disreputable, and idiosyncratic. It celebrates the genre of dirty and scary movies, and satirizes the culture of a time before the information superhighway was widely available. While it's not the best movie, it is interesting and is a fun, dark, and witty slasher. X Pornos is a throwback to the slasher movies of the 1970s.
