This study used a correlation process to test the association between using pornography and negative attitudes toward women. Specifically, the researchers found that larger use of pornography was linked to a lower perception of girls. However, this affiliation may not be a causal effect. Asians have historically been more conservative about sexuality and behaviour. While most Asian cultures value sexual excitement in a family context, many Asian cultures stigmatize non-marital and recreational sexual practices. Chinese tradition, as an example, discourages discussions of sexuality and doesn't have a sex schooling program. Such cultural attitudes may inspire Asian women to have interaction in pornography. The study found that collegiate women who engaged in cyber web pornography were more more likely to be sexually objectified. This was in keeping with prior reports among males and children. Moreover, pornographic users recommended more rape myths and engaged in additional body tracking than non-users. Despite these adjustments, attitudes toward women weren't considerably alternative among non-users and users.
