Meyer had formerly retired from filmmaking, but again to filmmaking after growing the highly successful Supervixens (1976). The film's surreal style and audacious unpredictability make it a standout among Meyer's works. The film also aspects two mind-blowing performances. Meyer's films began to become more explicit of their sexual content. He experimented with the use of sex scenes as a gag.
