While the plot depends an excessive amount of on accident, the ending is unique and a little bit unconventional. While feminism is an issue with 'China Girl', Campion doesn't let it become overtly misogynistic. It's a dramaThe second season of China Girl is a mixed bag. While the tale is still compelling, probably the most plot twists are clumsy and sensationalized. And the film fails to make its point about Western exploitation of immigrants. As such, it isn't for the faint-hearted. While set in Sydney, the film has a Chinese flavor to it. It portrays men as pimps, rapists, cheaters, and murderers. It also aspects an unprepossessing blogger. Meanwhile, the basic personality, Robin, lives in her mother's basement. She's preoccupied with the daughter she gave up for adoption 17 years ago, and her relationship along with her high school boyfriend Johnno has ended.
