The Global Early Adolescent Study (GEAS) surveyed more than 9,250 young people from five urban poor settings around the world. This group protected kids from eight Asian countries. The study aimed to examine the dating between pornography use and gender norms in young young people. It also found that the perception of SDS and GST were strongly linked to pornography use. Moreover, in a few countries, pornography use was associated with a more robust percent of boys than girls. Research on pornography has also shown that pornography intake is higher among Black women than among White women. However, this study was cross-sectional and did not assess even if this difference is everlasting. It did find that girls who use pornography were more prone to trust in myths of sexual rape and engaged in body monitoring. Nevertheless, women who did not use pornography had no change in attitudes toward women.
