A survey by the Japan Family Planning Association in 2011 found out that 61% of single men and 49% of girls aged 18 to 34 were single, up 10 % from the previous year. In addition, the variety of people under 30 have never dated. And 1/3 of them don't have any aim of dating. The study found that one in four Japanese people were single and had zero interest in heterosexual relationships. Despite the incidence of heterosexual relationships, Japan's media always reports in regards to the expanding rate of virginity and declining attention in sex and dating. The study also found that basic family values were keeping women from having porno sex. It was surprising to many Japanese men that Japanese women were so vulnerable to watching porno sex. Japanese women take time for themselvesAlthough most of Japan's AV is made for male consumption, a becoming trend is seen in the country to supply films for girls. And this trend is not restricted to pornography either - some 94% of Japanese women aged 18-40 take time for themselves at least twice a week. In fact, pornography is a common past time among Japanese women. Women are more likely to engage in pornography than men, which shows how essential a feminine gaze is to their future health.
