It wasn't until 36-40 years later that the Japanese game show genre took off in a big way. The second version of the sport show was called Takeshi's Castle, which was a biannual diversity show. Majide followed the Majide rivalry, but it also featured contestants' daily lives outside of the sport show. The contestants' lives were carefully watched backstage and in the encircling Kasai suburb. The series was hosted by Tony Sano and narrated by Robert Cait.
