Consistent condom use was more common among male children with no prior risk history, and people with strong intentions to use condoms sooner or later. Despite the growing attention in the dating among condom use and sexual risk, some researchers indicate that the superiority of condom use is not correlated with the age of consent. There is no definitive proof for a dating among condom use and the age of consent, but it is critical to appreciate that condom use affects sexual behaviors at all stages of life. Hence, a study of condom use and HIV prevention should look beyond age and gender to check whether condom use is related to decreased risk. One feasible explanation is that nonbarrier contraceptives (NBTs) reduce the perceived benefit of condoms. These include the Norplant levonorgestrel implant, and the injection DepoProvera. Although these methods haven't any proven effectiveness in fighting pregnancy, they may reduce the inducement to use condoms. The findings of the study indicate that youngsters who used condoms during their sexual debut had lower risk sexual behaviors and were more shielding. Furthermore, their numbers of sexual partners and frequency of intercourse were not considerably alternative in comparison to those that did not use condoms. This discovering is contrary to the findings of past stories, which indicated that condoms had a positive effect on sexual conduct and protection. Despite the decreasing HIV incidence rate in Sub-Saharan Africa, unsafe sexual behaviours remain a big public health challenge.
