This is because the Company is required to expend in total the augment in Vogtle forecast construction costs of $700 million ahead of charging Project expenditures to the extra contingency of $400 million or every other future forecasted cost augment. In order to maximize the chance for the Company to earn dividends, the Project must be completed by 2020. If the Project is not achieved by 2020, the Company won't have sufficient liquidity to fund future operations until 2022.
