Erotica and pornography are different in lots of ways, but the main difference is in how they are used. Both can augment libido and improve sex, but they have various objectives. In usual, erotica is not meant to demean its subject. It is more about advertising a favorable perspective toward sexual activities. Some people consider that erotica encourages a fit and exciting outlook on sex, but others argue that it could be a source of regressive opinions about men. Although the 2 forms share the same applications, judging them is a subjective matter. As a result, it's hard to say even if a work of erotica is pornography. Several philosophers, including Roger Scruton, have argued that erotic art doesn't have any aesthetic legitimacy. However, some theorists reminiscent of Jerrold Levinson claim that pornographic art does not exist. On the other hand, Gloria Steinem, a feminist author, believes that removing pornography will not dispose of all social injustices towards women. She states that sex should be separated from pornography.
