The Chinese government should implement more helpful measures to offer protection to sex workers. It should abolish the RTL system and change it with a more equitable system. Moreover, it may check the allegations of abuse against sex employees. Lastly, the government should give more importance to local human rights groups and groups that work to promote the rights of sex employees. While the govt must take all essential steps to offer protection to sex employees, the latest crackdown is not adequate. It is inflicting more violence towards sex workers and riding the industry underground. Moreover, it is forcing women to have interaction in risky sexual conduct. For example, lots of these women are not wearing condoms in the crusade. Further, women who engage in sex work say it is increasingly difficult find jobs after they're released from prison. The variety of sex employees is not known, though estimates vary from one million to more than 10 million. In the early years of China's financial liberalisation, sex businesses operated mostly in Special Economic Zones and catered to overseas traders.
