Boredom avoidanceA recent study found that looking porno videos may be linked to tricky behaviour. The researchers in comparison individuals' boredom levels in two various stipulations: a "bored" and a "interest" condition. Boredom levels were similar. Interest levels were lower. However, the change among the two stipulations was small. This shows that the benefits of mood induction are in large part overpowered by a more interesting task. There were a couple of possible reasons for the discrepancy, but the researchers believed that the effect may be because of the nature of the video. The researchers manipulated the high-quality of the video using plenty of measures, including the number of frames per second. Although their results showed that the effects were only average, the researchers concluded that manipulating the video's great had a good effect on boredom levels. In addition, the researchers believe that this might need a favorable effect on media multitasking. Interestingly, the researchers found that there have been no gender ameliorations in the porno viewing.
