The majority of Polish women begin sexual life before the age of 15, and their first orgasm occurs among the ages of 12 and 14. Although some women never experience an orgasm, sex is viewed as a natural need. The use of birth control and interruption of intercourse are common, and one third of ladies use oral contraception. One example of a Polish girl who authorized her sexuality was Anna Kowalska. She was a writer, poet, translator, and feminist who became famous during the interwar years. She was a staunch supporter of ladies's rights and sexual schooling. She had a long-term, open dating with her husband, Marian Dabrowski, and a romantic courting with an alternative man. Although the gay circulate in Poland continues to be pretty weak and unorganized, there are a few key institutions that actively promote sexuality. The largest is the LGBT-friendly organization Lambda Warsaw, which runs help lines and adds safe sex advice. Other companies include Nowy Men and Starosta 29 Jan. 1999.

    • At one time, the term X-rated simply meant a movie that was geared against little ones. However, as the film industry grew, the term became synonymous with pornography and was often used in connection with pornographic content. The MPAA stopped using the X rating for movies since it was too associated with porn and never useful for non-pornographic films.
