Some filmmakers persisted to free up works without an X rating. In the 1960s, filmmakers who created X-rated films were pleased with their efforts. They believed that this was a way to make their films more applicable to discerning viewers. But as the a long time went on, the term gained a bad connotation. Filmmakers began to use it to communicate parental concerns. While there is not any popular definition of X-rated pornography, the term "adult" was often used to indicate a film that consists of puerile scenes. A recent instance of this was the movie "Baise-moi," which contained practical scenes of sex and violence. This choice caused a large number of controversy, as conservative institutions recommended that the law that classified Baise-moi as an "adult" film can be modified to make it more correct for every age. In addition to pornographic films, a few other films have obtained an X-rated rating. These films were marketed as "X-rated" and feature been distributed by some filmmakers with none ratings. Some of these films are not masterpieces, but they're certainly not unrated.
