Naked marriagesThe idea of a naked marriage ceremony may sound incredibly appealing, but it contradicts dependent Chinese marriage traditions. Traditionally, a Chinese marriage comes to a red carpet ceremony and a betrothal gift for the bride's family. According to Professor Hu, naked marriages aren't what they appear. In fact, Chinese women are becoming more and more open to the idea of sex and marriage in more liberalized cities. Although pre-marriage sex has become less common in modern China, a couple of women still see it as a sign of marital dedication. In contrast, many Chinese men would prefer to marry a girl without premarital sex. However, teenagers in China are often under pressure in finding a good spouse and marry at an early age.
