Most lately, a hentai manga artist named Yuuji Suwa and publisher Monotori Kishi were convicted of distributing indecent images in their manga. After the trial, many manga bookstores and adult-oriented bookstores pulled their English variants, and some even shut down their Adult-only sections. This case has raised questions over the validity of the judicial system in Japan. The Japanese government has lately passed a bill aimed toward masking children from the naughty images.
