Unlike a slasher film, movies about pornography are less about violence and more about titillation than a bloody mess. "X" follows the lives of adult filmmakers in a small town. The filmmaker Wayne tries to cut corners with the film's budget, and his girlfriend Maxine, Bobby-Lynne, and Brittany Snow work with him on the assignment. Eventually, he realizes that he has to make some tough selections to stay on budget.
