One of the first actors to break into the adult industry was Traci Lords, who was 16 when she starred in her first porn movie, Penthouse. She also seemed in adult magazines and numerous other films. She was hailed as the "Princess of Porn" and earned over $1,000 a day. Eventually, she made the transition to mainstream acting, and has since been cast in a few films. Other actors who stepped out of the industry encompass Tracey Reeves, a two-time inductee in the AVN Hall of Fame. During the early 80s, she worked as a nude model before transitioning to an adult enjoyment career. Her appearances on Red Shoe Diaries were not restricted to porn videos, but she did appear topless in one episode. A variety of famous actors have also made their way into mainstream tv. One of them was the late Screech man or woman in Saved By The Bell. After a couple of non-sexual roles, he branched out and starred in several adult films. However, he quit the industry in 2000.
