European tradition impacts attitudes toward pornographyA recent study has found that European cultures affect attitudes toward pornography among Asian women. However, some questions remain about how pornography may affect Asian women. This study used a correlation system to test the affiliation between using pornography and bad attitudes toward women. Specifically, the researchers found that better use of pornography was associated with a lower belief of women. However, this association will not be a causal effect. Asians have historically been more conservative about sexuality and behaviour. While most Asian cultures value sexual exhilaration in a family context, many Asian cultures stigmatize non-marital and recreational sexual practices. Chinese tradition, for instance, discourages discussions of sexuality and doesn't have a sex education program. Such cultural attitudes may inspire Asian women to engage in pornography. The study found that collegiate women who engaged in internet pornography were more more likely to be sexually objectified. This was consistent with prior research among males and children.

While feminist pornography is not the norm, it can still have a bad impact.
