The registry has already partnered with 35 porn agencies to sell the domains. The company hopes to sell all 500,000 domains before February 2012. The ICM Registry has been planning to launch the domain since February 2010. The inspiration was approved by ICANN, the inner most organization that manages the Internet's top-level domains. Although the ICANN approved the suggestion, the group has repeatedly rejected similar proposals. It is doubtful whether this could impact the existing content-based discrimination laws. Despite the opposition, the ICM Registry was not inclined to pull out of its aid. The group bought over 6,000 court cases against the notion. It was also opposed by conservative groups. The competition to the brand new top-level domain was just about unanimous. The ICM Registry has said that it'll work to ensure the safety of the Internet for its users.
