In fact, research shows that 94% of Japanese women between the ages of 18 and 40 watch a film for excitement as a minimum two or 3 times a week. Despite this trend, women's employment rates in this industry are low. The amount of pay for a female AV actress peaks together with her first video and begins to say no after that. Similarly, the amount of cash she earns is not prone to rise as her technique improves. This is due to fact that men make up the majority of the AV industry in Japan, and they often idolize youth, freshness, and inexperience. The Japanese govt has taken action following reviews of sexual harassment in the AV industry.
