82 per cent of Indian women refuse to have interaction in sex with their husbandsAccording to a survey conducted by the National Family Health Survey 5 (NFHS-5), 82 per cent of Indian women say that they will not engage in sexual intercourse with their husbands. According to the survey, the commonest purposes for women not to interact in sex are having sexually transmitted ailments, having another accomplice, or being too tired. However, some states have higher rates of refusal than others. According to the study, 82 per cent of married women report that their husbands have engaged in sexual violence opposed to them. Of these, 84 per cent of them said that they were forced to have sex with their husbands, that is a kind of rape under the IPC. The maximum percent of ladies reporting sexual violence by their husbands was found in Karnataka, while the bottom percent was found in Ladakh. The survey also showed that women from southern states were more more likely to report discrimination than women from other parts of the rustic. However, women in these states are more advanced and out live women in other parts of the rustic. In addition, 82 per cent of Indian women refused to engage in sex with their husbands as a result of they felt humiliated or ashamed in their sexuality. In standard, Indians say that men should have a more popular role in the domestic setting. Nearly nine-in-ten people in India agree that ladies should obey their husbands, and girls believe this sentiment only just a little lower than men.15.02.2023
