China's govt is taking steps to alter the livestreaming industry. Moreover, the app has advanced beyond its social networking roots to become a platform for super content. In 2016, nearly half of China's cyber web users viewed livestreams. According to the report, China's livestreaming sector will reach a revenue of RMB 1.
