Traditionally, liberals have defended the right of pornography to exist. While some of those defenders disagree about whether the harm is huge enough to justify regulations on the industry, most liberals agree that pornography causes some harm to women. Some conservatives argue that pornography is morally faulty and will be banned. However, others have argued that a ban would not do any good. Instead, a more constructive way to tackle the challenge of sexual inequality would be to center around getting better women's lives. Another group of advocates is the feminists. While they don't share the conservatives' desire to ban pornography, they do agree that the industry preys on prone populations, particularly women. They also accept as true with that pornography has the ability to undermine the equal civil rights of girls. A variety of liberals have proposed that the "harm principle" may be a basis for censorship. The principle is described largely, but has to be supported by some dependable evidence of damage to other people. It is not marvelous then, that many conventional liberal defenders of pornography disagree about even if the precept has any real value.29.01.2023
