Indian women are in a position to have pleasing sex, however the desire is often not noted. Instead, conversations about sex in Indian tradition focus on violence and rape. 82 per cent of Indian women refuse to have interaction in sex with their husbandsAccording to a survey performed by the National Family Health Survey 5 (NFHS-5), 82 per cent of Indian women say that they're going to not engage in sexual intercourse with their husbands. According to the survey, the most typical reasons for girls not to have interaction in sex are having sexually transmitted diseases, having a further companion, or being too tired. However, some states have higher rates of refusal than others. According to the study, 82 per cent of married women report that their husbands have engaged in sexual violence against them. Of these, 84 per cent of them said that they were forced to have sex with their husbands, that is a kind of rape under the IPC. The maximum percentage of women reporting sexual violence by their husbands was present in Karnataka, while the bottom percent was found in Ladakh. The survey also showed that ladies from southern states were more prone to report discrimination than women from other parts of the country. However, women in these states are more educated and live longer than women in other parts of the country. In addition, 82 per cent of Indian women refused to interact in sex with their husbands as a result of they felt humiliated or ashamed of their sexuality.
