The film follows three aspiring adult film stars as they embark on a road trip via Texas to shoot an X-rated movie. As they make their way through the countryside, they become targets for a killer who seeks to make a 'breakout' film. Their trip turns into a bloody nightmare as they're ruthlessly murdered by the ruthless family of two of the women. The film is a remake of the 1974 film by Tobe Hooper and directed by Ti West. The film stars Jenna Ortega and Owen Campbell. Jenna Ortega plays Lorraine, the lady in the film. Owen Campbell, who plays the 'Director', resembles Hooper. The movie begins with a long exposition of the film's plot before it hits its stride. The film is set in Houston in 1979, and revolves around a crew of actors.
