Asian pornography often reinforces this stereotype and might inspire violence towards Asian women. This fetishization of Asian men and girls is a symptom of a larger cultural challenge. There are few Asian males in American tv shows and films that depict a more diverse group. Instead, Asian women are offered as submissive and passive to the white man. These stereotypes are a manufactured from Western imperialism and are a part of a larger sociocultural framework.
