While the adult industry in Japan has been criticized for its exploitation of women and ladies, Shimiken has managed to stay afloat by working with as many as seven thousand co-stars. Shimiken was raised in a town external of Tokyo and spent his adolescence working as a pickup artist. He would hit on women in arcades and on the street.
