4. " Other actors include Brittany Snow and Kid Cudi. Owen Campbell plays the director. Jenna Ortega plays a soundperson. She discovers that she is a better actor on screen than behind the camera. While it isn't a significant film, "X" is an interesting watch for film buffs and non-cinema buffs. It has a likable cast, some witticism and a few good sex, and a number of shocking sequences. In many ways, X follows in the tradition of A24 arthouse horror films, inserting ideas and themes in the leading edge instead of bloodshed and gore. Unlike a slasher film, movies about pornography are less about violence and more about titillation than a bloody mess. "X" follows the lives of adult filmmakers in a small town. The filmmaker Wayne tries to cut corners with the film's budget, and his female friend Maxine, Bobby-Lynne, and Brittany Snow work with him on the task.
