While most Asian cultures value sexual exhilaration in a family context, many Asian cultures stigmatize non-marital and recreational sexual practices. The study found that collegiate women who engaged in internet pornography were more prone to be sexually objectified. This was consistent with prior studies among males and teens. Moreover, pornographic users counseled more rape myths and engaged in additional body monitoring than non-users. Despite these adjustments, attitudes toward women weren't considerably different between non-users and users. The use of pornography is in large part ate up for pleasure. In fact, reviews have found that men are more likely to engage in pornography than women. Higher erotophobia is linked to greater motivation to interact in pornography. For Asian women, however, it is a more challenging choice to make.
